We said we would take the Bus. As far north as we can get. What turned out to be Thurso. When we got out of the bus there seemed to be not much except empty streets filled with sunlight. But then, behind a few corners, there suddenly was the Atlantic! Blue like nothing else can be. And in the distance lay the rough shores of the Orkney Islands.
Those unexpected, sunny afternoon-hours held some kind of light and magic athmosphere.
Sheer luck helped us to find a campingside right on the cliffs and probably the ALDI with the most amazing view from its front-window in the world.
